Click with Caution: Meta Ads Distributing Malware That Hijacks Phones and Drains Bank Accounts

India's Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a high-alert warning over malicious Android apps—including "Night Play," "Reloop," and "Kyss"—promoted through Facebook and Instagram ads. Disguised as adult content, these apps trick users into downloading external APKs. Once granted Accessibility permissions, the malware grants scammers full remote device control, enabling them to steal banking PINs, intercept OTPs, and perform unauthorized financial transactions.
